In August 2023, we launched the first edition of our Metal Open Advice Sessions offering free 1:1 sessions for artists in our local areas.
The sessions were open to artists working in any artform, at any stage of their career and were shaped by what you wanted to discuss. Our sessions included talking through a project idea, advice or sign posting to different funding routes or opportunities, budget development or reading draft applications, and more.
Our Open Advice Sessions were fully booked soon after launching and were a great success! We’re keen to continue these conversations and support, and will be announcing new bookable dates soon for early 2024.
