    Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network

    March 29, 2022 by

The Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network is a collective of filmmakers from the African Diaspora that centre Black identity in their work, led by Liverpool filmmakers Michelle Peterkin- Walker and Bea Freeman. Liverpool with a history of diversity, protest, slavery and incredible cultural production acts as a point of departure to engage the many facets of our identities. With the support of Metal Culture we intend to offer educational support to Black Liverpool filmmakers through workshops, discussions, hands on filmmaking experience, opportunities to show work throughout the city and nationally, feedback on work and collectivity that provides foundational support to cultivate ideas and imaginings.
