From 2008 to 2018, Metal ran three digital networks set up for local creatives – IDEA1 in Peterborough, IDEA13 in Thurrock and IDEA13 in Southend.
Each site had its own dedicated website, connecting local creatives and providing a platform to promote their work, events, opportunities and call-outs.
A weekly listings newsletter was sent out to subscribers.
IDEA1 and IDEA13 also documented local events and artists with video and blog interviews.
