Our Metal Open Advice Sessions for artists are back!
We’re offering free 1:1 sessions for artists who live and/or work within our local areas. These sessions will be led by you and what you would like to discuss.
You can choose to have your session in person at our location at Chauffeurs Cottage in Peterborough, as well as the option to discuss your work with us online. There is one session available per artist and the slots are 1 hour long.
Sessions are free and will be open on a first come first served basis (to those who live and/or work in the locations where we are based). Any artist that has previously booked a slot on our last 2 open advice sessions won’t be eligible this time.
You can book a free 1:1 slot with us here.
What’s on offer?
Our team will share their experience and backgrounds during a one-hour long session. Your session will be led by you, and you can decide what you would like to discuss. What you share with us in the session will stay in the meeting. We will not share your ideas outside of the session space. The sessions can either be in person or online. Please let us know your preference when you book.
What can you talk about?
Anything to do with your art or practice! We can answer questions you might have about funding or put you in touch with networks and organisations, or just discuss your project idea.
Previous sessions have included:
– Discussing your creative practice
– Talking through a project idea
– Advice or sign posting to different funding routes or opportunities
– Building relationships with different organisations, voluntary groups, partners or venues
– Budget development or reading draft applications
These sessions will be led by you, so please come prepared with questions and discussion points. When booking your slot, you will be invited to give us some context about what we will be discussing.
Who can book an Open Advice Session?
