‘NO FONTIERS‘
A free day long workshop of zine-making, self-publishing and self-expression for 16 – 25 year olds.
Weds 26 October, 10am – 4pm (Half term)
Perfect for anyone interested in creative writing, art and collaboration!
The day is led by Lu Williams, artist and founder of Grrrl Zine Fair, with support from English PEN and Metal.
During the session, you’ll discover the history of zines, explore different writing and creative techniques and work towards a new collaborative zine which features original writing, artwork and creative ideas gathered from all those who attend. All those who attend will receive a printed copy of their zine, as well as an online link to the digital copy. A great opportunity to make new work, share creative ideas and add a new skill to your CV.
English PEN is one of the world’s oldest human rights organisations, that works to protect the freedom to write and read around the world. As we work together on the content for this newzine, we’ll be taking inspiration from the English PEN Charter.
