What we heard – Artists to Artists

What we heard – Artists to Artists
A special evening bringing together members of Cambridge’s creative community
Wednesday 18 February
5–7pm
Cambridge Junction
Clifton Way, Cambridge, CB1 7GX,
Join us for an evening of ideas, food and conversation as we share the new Artists to Artists commissioned work and mark the culmination of a programme of shared dinners, gatherings, conversations and commissions connecting creative voices across Cambridge.
Over several months artists and creative freelancers have been coming together to talk honestly about their experiences, challenges and hopes for Cambridge cultural life.
You’ll hear from commissioned artists Zhuozhang Li, Sarah Wood and Idit Nathan, who will share the artworks they’ve created. Each work captures insights gathered through conversations with their peers and networks, imagining the future of culture in Cambridge and the spirt of these shared reflections.
There will be time to hear what has emerged so far, and space to reflect. Your voice matters. Whether you’ve been part of the conversations already or are joining for the first time, you’re invited to be part of shaping what comes next.
This work is supporting the development of a new cultural strategy for Cambridge, commissioned by Create Cambridge – the city’s cultural compact bringing together artists and cultural organisations, with academic, industry and civic organisations to lead on a bold new vision for Culture in Cambridge.
Book here by 12pm, Thursday 12 February.
All food will be vegetarian. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when booking. For any further questions please contact jack@metalculture.com or call 01733 89307
