In 2021, we continued our programme of remote residencies after the period of uncertainty created by COVID-19 was still being felt by many freelance artists and creative practitioners. We reframed our annual programme of artist residencies to create remote residencies which supported creatives in Liverpool, Peterborough and Southend. We continued with our project-based residencies, and towards the end of the year, we launched a round of Metal residencies, offering 21 opportunities to creatives across our three sites, to enable a short period of focused research and development time.
