    Residencies Pierre Babbage

    Pierre Babbage

    December 15, 2025 by

Pierre is a movement artist based in London working around themes of queer history and ancestry, rejection, and hope using dance, poetry and film. Their work has been performed across the UK, including presentations at the ICA, V&A Lates, Somerset House, Stanley Arts, CCA Goldsmiths, Ugly Duck and The Place.

They have collaborated and performed for international artists; Anthea Hamilton, Adham Faramawy, Ava Kouchak, Jose Funnell, Sam Williams and Zoë Marden. They are part of Pierre & Baby and co-curate MIND UR HEAD, a queer dance party + platform.

    About Pierre’s Residency

During their residency Pierre is interested in researching Paraguayan Guaraní histories, exploring how artists responded to censorship and the repression of queer voices and how to archive performance images.

This residency is part of the In Other Words project.
