    UK-Russia Year of Music: Aneliya Avtandilova

    From October 14th to November 13th Metal musician Aneliya Avtandilova was our artist in residence on behalf of British Council’s UK-Russia Year of Music program. During her residency she composed, recorded and performed “Mass,” a secular-choral piece that responds to languages and phrases of specific localities. The performance of “Mass” was part of an event titled ’15 Minutes with…’ including performances by Daniel Thorne, George Maund and Forest Swords.
