Positive Notes – Artist Callout

Metal is seeking a lead artist for Positive Notes, a brand-new project launching Spring 2025, all about uncovering the hidden gems of Peterborough’s history. We want to engage young people (13 – 25) to discover, celebrate, and share the stories that have been overlooked—stories of amazing people, places, and events that give Peterborough its unique vibe.
By uncovering and celebrating stories of LGBTQIA+, global majority, migrant, and refugee individuals, we want to bring folks together, ignite inspiration and connect us to those who have paved the way before us.
We’re looking for a talented artist to co-create with the young people, a series of vibrant placemarkers to create a beautiful art trail across the city that will spread positivity, spark discovery and warmly welcomes people into Peterborough.
Information Session: 2 April 2025
Closing date: 10 April 2025
