Metal is working with Arts Council England (ACE) to host a series of talks and open advice sessions about how artists, creatives, community and voluntary groups can apply for a Project Grant to fund their work. ACE are keen for more people from the Peterborough and Fenland area to apply.
What’s on offer?
A series of talks and workshops to help artists, creatives, community and voluntary groups with:
- Deciding which Arts Council funding stream is right for you
- Filling out an Arts Council funding application online
- Developing your idea for your project, or looking at finance, budgets and risk management
We’re also hosting open advice sessions (online and in person) for you to discuss your project ideas ahead of applying with an artist and a member of staff from the Metal team. Some of these sessions will prioritise artists and creatives who are global majority, d/Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent. These sessions are being held in response to research and findings from ACE which show a lower number of funding applications made by people existing within these underrepresented groups.
