Join the Desire Paths artists Kate Monson, Laura Whiting and Liam Heatherson to explore Canvey Town Centre through a guided sensory walk.

Desire Paths is part of ‘This is Us’ is a creative engagement programme led by Estuary Festival and Metal commissioned by Castle Point Borough Council inviting local residents to share experiences of living in the borough and aspirations for its future.

Local artists have been commissioned to develop creative activities that share diverse perspectives, with creative activities both informing and illustrating the emerging Local Plan.

Meeting at the Memorial Gardens in front of The Paddocks, we will flow down Long Road and up Furtherwick Road, seeping into side streets as we go.

Travelling about 1.5km over a period of 2.5 hours, the walk will include multiple pause points for creative engagement and contemplation. No artistic experience or preparation necessary! Book free tickets here.
