Come together over food and creativity for an evening of conversation about Peterborough. Whether you live, work, study or, on some level, care about this fantastic city, all are welcome.
Hosted at Chauffeurs Cottage, and joined by poet Keely Mills and artist Fasiha Ashiq, we’re bringing people together from all backgrounds to explore and celebrate Peterborough’s diverse communities and experiences.
Share a good meal together and talk about your stories of the city. With local artists, you’ll create words and artwork that tell your Peterborough story. No artistic skills necessary – just bring yourself! Meet new people from different parts of the city and hear stories about Peterborough’s past, present and future. We’ll reflect on the challenges and the many strengths too.
The event is part of the national Being Human Festival 2024, set up to celebrate the arts and humanities. It’s organised by Dan Taylor of the Open University, who is doing long-term research about community in Peterborough.
So, let’s gather, connect, enjoy good food and tell our stories.
Numbers are capped to accommodate the space, so please RSVP if you can make it. Book free tickets here.
