Write Now: Writing applications doesn’t have to be solo

    March 27 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

    • Thursday 27th March 12pm-3pm (RBI Arts Centre, Queensgate)
    • Thursday 3rd April 4pm – 7pm (online)

Who says writing funding applications has to be a lonely task? Welcome to Write Now a drop in space where artists and creatives can work on and tackle their Arts Council Funding applications, residency, or commission proposals in a friendly and supportive space. Whether you’re stuck on a tricky question, need to brainstorm a sentence or two, or just want other folks to hold you accountable, artists Kate Marsh and Yvonne Hercules and a member of the Metal team will be there to offer advice and support.

This informal hangout might just give you the boost you need to hit that submit button, knowing you’re not in this alone. Let’s try and make the process easier, more collaborative, and tastier with refreshments and snacks on hand!

Write Now has come out of conversations from artist John Clark’s Hiding in Plain Sight sessions, and our Open Advice sessions.
