Who We Are Bobbi Robertson, Executive Director (Parental Leave), Cross-site (She / They)

Bobbi Robertson, Executive Director (Parental Leave), Cross-site (She / They)

    December 16, 2025 by

Hi, I’m Bobbi (Clare) Robertson (she/they). I’m a values-driven arts leader based in East London, and for the past 17 years I’ve worked across theatre, socially engaged arts and cross-sector partnerships. Before Metal, I held senior roles at Camden People’s Theatre, Cardboard Citizens and Belarus Free Theatre. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for artist-led practice, community collaboration and the many ways creative organisations can make meaningful social impact. Alongside my work here, I’m a Trustee of EachOther, the UK human-rights storytelling charity, and I hold an LLM in Human Rights from Birkbeck. Outside of work, I try to carve out small moments each day to feed my creative self – playing the piano, listening to a podcast or reading. I love open-water swimming and spending time among trees… both of which take a bit of effort when you live in East London!
