I joined Metal in March 2026 – I’m an artist, performance-maker and academic based in Merseyside, where I’ve lived and worked for most of my life. Before joining Metal, I was Creative Programme & Artist Development Officer for St Helens Borough Council. Prior to that, I lectured in Performance & Digital Arts at De Montfort University. I’m also a Drag Queen – interested in magic, liberation, cabaret and queer nightlife. I hold a PhD in transdisciplinarity and have recently started devising my second one-queen theatre show called Songbird. My most recent reads have been Queer as Folklore by Sacha Coward, & Between Two Fires by Christopher Buchlman. My favourite album of all time is Hounds of Love by Kate Bush.
