Earlier in December, NetPark Wellbeing took 16 participants living with mental health conditions to Hyde Hall’s Glow exhibition to explore the garden after dark.
We followed the magical illuminated trail around the botanical gardens, and the different garden areas and trees were awash with colourful lights that lit up the night sky. In the Winter Garden, we were dazzled by the iconic willow and leaf sculptures immersed in festive colour. Along the way, we took a break and enjoyed some food and drink in the festive German-style stalls!
Some words from our participants:
“An amazing experience. The lighting was so clever,” – Mark D
“An unusual and exciting experience. Thank you Hyde Hall and Metal – I wouldn’t have been able to see this show without your help.” – Jane E
Thank you RHS Garden Hyde Hall for your generosity in providing minibus transportation from Chalkwell, for giving participants and staff free entry, and the guided tour. It was a wonderful festive opportunity for our participants who do not have access to personal transport.
