Returning to Metal after 10 years after their residency with us, Three Acres And A Cow will be performing in our space on Wednesday 1 May from 7pm.
Three Acres And A Cow is a history of land rights and protest in folk song and story. The show connects the Norman Conquest and Peasants’ Revolt with current issues like the housing crisis, reparations, climate breakdown and food sovereignty via the Enclosures, English Civil War and Industrial Revolution, drawing a compelling narrative through the radical people’s history of England in folk song, stories and poems.
Please note: this event is ‘Hosted at’ Metal Peterborough and functions outside of our programme as a dry hire. For more information on the organisers, please visit their website here. For more information about Metal and our public programme, please click here.
