Join Yvonne Hercules for a creative lyric writing and poetry workshop on Monday 12 June from Chauffeurs Cottage! Book here.

The workshop will be based on creating lyrical work that references identity, background and the nuances surrounding the experiences of marginalised communities. There is no requirement to have any previous experience with lyric writing or poetry as Yvonne will be guiding you through the process using visual and audio to support your creative process. There will also be space for discussion both during and after the workshop.  

This workshop is part of a tour of Yvonne’s new EP, ‘Olive’, which is partly inspired by the life and work of feminist activist Olive Morris.  The EP will be released on 9 June 2023 by Trapped Animal Records.
