We’re excited to be hosting the summer programme of Southend Art Club from our Metal Art School at Chalkwell Hall.
Since 1929, the Southend Art Club has been an established community of artists known for creating work in varying styles and mediums. New members are encouraged to join and inject fresh and exciting ideas! The gardens at Chalkwell Park are also an excellent venue for outdoor painting in good weather.
There are two exhibitions yearly for members to showcase their work and to put them up for sale. The programme also consists of visiting artists for demonstrations, which everyone is encouraged to try out, and there is a winter lunch and a summer day out painting.
The summer programme starts from the Metal Art School in Chalkwell Park in April and the winter programme is being held at the Beecroft Art Gallery from October to March. See dates for the summer programme below. All sessions are 1-4pm.
