This Halloween night at Metal Liverpool, Black Girl Watching Film Club is back in our Engine Room with a screening of ‘90s African American horror comedy gem, Tales From The Hood.

Produced by Spike Lee’s production company, 40 Acres and a Mule, Tales from the Hood is a weird, silly, scary, once in a lifetime viewing experience. Using real life horrors like police brutality, gang violence, and racism as backdrops to host these spooky stories, Tales from the Hood follows a trio of friends visiting the eccentric Mr. Simms whose terrible tales will make you scream with terror and laughter! We’ll be showing this in crystal clear Blu-ray so if you’re in the mood for some midbudget, ambitious schlock this Halloween come grab a hot chocolate and quake in fear at this certified hood classic!
