Who We Are Molly Nicholson, Head of Programmes and Partnerships: Cross-Site (She/Her)

Molly Nicholson, Head of Programmes and Partnerships: Cross-Site (She/Her)

    June 9, 2025 by

Hey, I’m Molly and I joined Metal in 2024. As a producer, consultant and arts leader, I have over 15 years working across queer theatre, socially activist art and circus arts. Currently London based my background is producing cross-artform work which supports artists and communities—especially queer, working-class and underrepresented folk. Previously I ran circus festivals, created circus work internationally across Cambodia, Ethiopia & Palestine, and when at home worked in cabaret and night culture. In 2017, I co-founded Scottee & Friends and independent arts organisation creating political, provocative and participant led work (basically made stuff about stuff), and in 2020 I transitioned the company to &Friends Productions and focus our work in Barking. I’m also a Clore Leadership Fellow. Outside of work, I collect hobbies—most of which I’m happily bad at. I lived on a boat for ten years so mostly enjoy not having to keep one afloat and having electricity.
